In keeping with Iḷisaġvik College’s Mission to perpetuate and strengthen Iñupiat culture, language, values and traditions, the Cooperative Extension Program seeks to foster an environment of lifelong learning in the communities of the North Slope. We strive to match the abundance of talents and expertise available with areas of expressed interest for our residents. In addition, we value a wide scope of methodology for delivery and a strong connection with community members and agencies in assessment of existing talents and interest. Ongoing communication strategies regarding efficacy of services are paramount as we focus on health, home and family development.
