The Business Office is committed to providing the necessary services to support the mission and strategic planning goals as set forth by the Board of Trustees of Iḷisaġvik College. In support of the students, the Iḷisaġvik College community and external constituents, it is our responsibility to safeguard the College’s resources, accurately report its financial position and results, and contribute to its economic strength. This responsibility requires that we be service oriented relative to the financial needs of all departments while still assuring that all transactions adhere to College policies and procedures, generally accepted accounting principles, and rules established by the authoritative governing bodies. In addition, the Business Office provides the college administration, faculty, staff and students with meaningful financial information in a timely and accurate manner.
