Graduation

Iḷisaġvik College issues certificates and degrees at the end of the fall and spring semesters each year. A commencement ceremony is held each spring to celebrate graduates from both semesters.

In order to graduate, students must fill out an Application for Graduation. Deadlines for graduation applications are typically early March for spring and early October for fall.

To be eligible for graduation, students must satisfy the general and program requirements as outlined in the Course Catalog. Students must also earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and a minimum grade of “C” in all program specialization requirements.

Students may request a credit audit from their faculty advisor or the Registrar’s office at any time to determine their progress towards graduation.

For more information on graduation, see the Course Catalog or contact the Registrar’s office at registration@ilisagvik.edu or 907-852-1754.
